So I spent my summer in New York interning for Nautica in their E-Commerce department. It was amazing I got to have breakfast with Carly and Michelle Ochs, attend Fashion Campus NYC where Chris Benz was the keynote speaker, tour the Raulph Lauren Menswear showroom, meet Christian Siriano, as well as listen to a panel that included Cynthia Rowley, Lori Goldstein, Alexis Bittar, Terron Schaefer, Mickey Boardman, and Michael Bastian. And as for the non-fashion related things I watched Gossip Girl film and attended a few of Nick Jonas’ softball games during my lunch breaks because the Nautica offices are only 2 blocks from Central Park. This was all thanks to my scholarship so if anyone has the chance to apply for the Fashion Scholarship Fund YMA scholarship DO IT, its a lot of work but totally worth it.
